Kent Bazemore has 20 points in loss to the Mavericks

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Sun, Feb 7th 4:22pm EST

Kent Bazemore totaled 20 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3PT, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 23 minutes in the Warriors' 134-132 loss to the Mavericks on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Bazemore is having a great start to February by scoring a season’s best 20.0 points against the Mavericks. Bazemore’s 20.0 point game marks only his second double-digit scoring performance this season. So far, he is averaging 19.0 minutes, 11.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game and shooting 60.0 percent from the floor and 45.5 percent from beyond the arc this month. Although he doesn’t get a tremendous amount of time in the rotation, his role is consistent, and he is averaging at least 15.0 minutes a game. He has the talent to put together some worthwhile performances in limited amounts of time and could be a useful add-in season-long deep-league play. With the Warriors less than 100.0 percent, he could see more time and usage, making him a possible flier option in DFS formats.
