Spencer Dinwiddie drops 20 points in Wizards 115-112 2OT win
by Jordan Bush | Sun, Oct 31st 10:44am EDT
Wizards PG Spencer Dinwiddie was one of four Wizards in double-figures with 20 points (6-18 FG, 1-7 3PT, 7-8 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, and one steal in Saturday night's win. Unfortunately, the one missed free-throw came on the front-end of a shooting foul with 3.8 seconds left and the Wizards down only one point. However, he made up for it by sinking a jumper with 14.6 seconds left in 2OT which proved to be the game deciding basket.
Fantasy Impact:
Dinwiddie has been a fantastic addition the the Wizards this season. His skill set fits exactly what the team needs as he is not a score-first PG but totally capable of scoring when called upon. The Wizards will rely heavily on their starters since their bench isn't very deep so fantasy managers can expect consistent numbers from him.
