Spencer Dinwiddie scores two points in loss to the Magic

Spencer Dinwiddie totaled two points (0-11 FG, 0-6 3PT, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists, and one steal in the Nets’ 119-106 loss to the Magic.

Fantasy Impact:

Dinwiddie scored two points in the Nets' loss to the Magic, putting together his worse scoring effort since February 24th against the Bulls, where he again scored two points. He shot a dismal zero percent from the floor and from beyond the arc and was uninspiring in the contest. The silver lining, however, is that the game we feared would happen happened, and now with it over, Dinwiddie could position himself to go on another productive stretch of games that demonstrate his talent. It is also important to note that this was the first back-to-back game he has played since January 14th and 15th, when he faced off against the Trailblazers as a member of the Mavericks. This game may be more indicative of the conditions outside of his play and could be an isolated case in the long run. So, all things considered, this game could be an inevitable occurrence that could open additional opportunities to fit him in your lineups, especially with the potential decrease in price and increase in skepticism, given the risk that can come with the conservative and traditional nature of his game. Dinwiddie will look to turn it around against the Rockets.
