Wood will join Kyrie Irving (right foot injury recovery) and multiple other key rotation pieces on the sideline for Friday’s game against the Bulls. Despite the game being a must-win for the Mavs to keep their postseason hopes alive, the team is electing to rest multiple starters and other important rotation players such as Maxi Kleber (right hamstring recovery and Josh Green (rest). Oddly enough, Luka Doncic remains probable but it seems the Mavericks may be waiving the white flag and conceding the final play-in spot to the Thunder.
