Zion Williamson told reporters there are mental hurdles he has to get through when asked if he could see the court in a possible first-round series. (Andrew Lopez on Twitter)

The Pelicans will first have to win two games in the play-in tournament where a first-round matchup against the Nuggets would be waiting for them. Williamson said he feels good physically and it’s more about “when I feel like Zion again.” In the meantime, the Pelicans will have to first get by the Thunder and then the loser of the Lakers-Wolves game to keep their season alive.
