Jalen Williams struggles as Thunder pull out victory

by Dan Tursky | Thunder Correspondent | Thu, Apr 13th 1:04am EDT

Jalen Williams scored 14 points (4-14 FG, 0-5 3P, 3-4 FT) to go with four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block across 40 minutes as the Thunder defeated the Pelicans 123-118 on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Williams struggled shooting the rock on Wednesday, bricking on all five of his three-point attempts while firing at just a 28% clip overall. Luckily for the rookie, his teammates were there to pick him up and carry the Thunder past the first round of the Play-In tournament. Williams will need to bounce back against Minnesota on Friday, as the winner will end up taking on the Nuggets as the 8th seed of the Western Conference. Betting on the young electric forward to do just that feels like an appropriate call.
