Jaylin Williams does his part in win over Pelicans

by Dan Tursky | Thunder Correspondent | Thu, Apr 13th 1:09am EDT

Jaylin Williams managed eight points (3-9 FG, 1-7 3P, 1-2 FT) to go with eight rebounds, eight assists, and a steal across 32 minutes as the Thunder downed the Pelicans 123-118 on Wednesday night.

Fantasy Impact:

The "other" J. Williams decided to play Crazy Eights on Wednesday night, and it paid off with an astute OKC victory. By all accounts, Williams struggled early on in this one, as he got bullied by Jonas Valanciunas for much of the first half. Credit to the rookie however, for bouncing back nicely and making some great hustle plays in the latter part of the game. Williams will have another tough task on Friday, as he will be lining up against both Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert in what will be a win-or-go-home affair for both teams.
