Jalen Duren double-doubles again in win over the Hornets

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Pistons Correspondent | Sat, Oct 28th 4:55pm EDT

Jalen Duren totaled 14 points (7-8 FG), seventeen rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks in the Pistons’ 111-99 win over the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact:

Duren double-doubled in the Pistons' win over the Hornets, putting together another stellar performance as he proceeded to contribute to every statistical category of the stat-sheet. So far this season, he is averaging 33.5 minutes of playing time, 15.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 blocks, and 0.5 steals per game while shooting an incredible 78.9 percent from the floor. His talent is undeniable as he has managed, albeit early in his career, to balance high volume production with efficient play while on the floor. He is a must-start fantasy asset in all formats, and he has the potential, especially under the utilization and leadership of Coach Monty Williams, to return some significant rewards for those who remember his under-the-radar breakout performance last year as a rookie, even with his limited and inconsistent role at the time.
