Deni Avdija filled the stat sheet for the Wizards Friday night, dishing out five assists, recording one steal, grabbing six rebounds, blocking one shot, and scoring 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-4 3PT) in a 124-117 loss to the Hornets.

Avdija has been a steady option on both ends of the floor of late for the Wizards, finishing with at least three rebounds, three assists, and nine points in each of the last five games. The versatile 22-year-old continues to acclimate himself as part of a rebuilt Washington starting five, averaging 12.8 points, 3.8 assists, and 5.4 rebounds per game to go along with a usage rate of 18.4% so far this season.
