by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Hawks Correspondent | Sun, Nov 26th 2:48pm EST

De’Andre Hunter totaled 20 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3PT, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, and two steals in the Hawks’ 136-108 win over the Wizards.

Fantasy Impact:

Hunter scored 20.0 points in the Hawks’ win over the Wizards, making this his second consecutive scoring performance with at least 20.0 points. Although his scoring has dropped compared to last season’s averages, his overall efficiency and production across other performance categories have increased. Hunter’s value has been strongly tied to his scoring in years past; however, he can contribute in other ways, which could make him a sneaky multi-categorical play. With teammate Jalen Johnson out for several weeks with a left wrist injury, he could be leaned on even more, giving him more opportunity to build on his recent burst of production. Hunter is a viable must-roster asset in most season-long leagues and could be a great option in daily formats, given his price point and the potential of increased usage in the rotation. Hunter has a usage rate of 17.5 percent, a plus-minus of 0.5, and is averaging 30.1 minutes, 13.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the floor and 36.2 percent from beyond the arc.
