Gary Payton II will receive an MRI on his right calf after being ruled out for the remainder of the game in the third quarter of Tuesday’s loss to the Kings, in which he finished with seven points (3-4 FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one block, and two steals. Payton came up limping during the third quarter and was visibly upset before ultimately being ruled out for the remainder of the game. The injury's severity is still unknown as we wait for results from the MRI. If Payton is forced to miss time, Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga would see increased fantasy value, while Brandin Podziemski could also work his way into the rotation.
