Marcus Sasser totaled 17 points (6-11 FG, 5-7 3PT), two rebounds, four assists, and one steal in the Pistons’ 118-112 loss to the Knicks.

Fantasy Impact:

Sasser scored 17.0 points in the Pistons' loss to the Knicks, showcasing the scoring upside we witnessed at the beginning of the month. He has had opportunities in the starting rotation and has been granted several opportunities to make his mark on the team. However, Sasser has yet to do much to obtain and secure the team's trust to warrant a long-term, meaningful role at this time. Granted, he will have his moments as he grows throughout the season, but there is no guarantee that when that time comes, his produced value will be worth considering in season-long leagues. Now, with that said, if Sasser can find and sustain some consistency in his production level and meaningful contribution, he could make a case for must-roster consideration, but only time will tell. Keeping him on your radar could be an ideal strategy for late-season play, as more opportunities may become available in the rotation, especially if the season continues to go the way it is going. Sasser has some appeal in daily formats; however, his price point could be too inflated, given his sporadic use in the lineup. Still, he could warrant consideration if he finds himself in a plus matchup. Sasser has a usage rate of 17.9 percent, a plus-minus of -3.4, and is averaging 18.7 minutes, 8.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the floor and 40.9 percent from beyond the arc.
