Scoot Henderson totaled 17 points (6-15 FG, 2-5 3PT, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists, and one steal in the Trail Blazers’ 118-113 loss to the Jazz.

Fantasy Impact:

Henderson scored 17.0 points in the Trail Blazers' loss to the Jazz, continuing to demonstrate his promising upside as an offensive asset. Even though it will be tough to supplant Malcolm Brogdon as the starting facilitator, his talent, barring any health setbacks, could make way for him to see meaningful minutes coming off the bench. Henderson might not have played college ball, but his production in his two-year stint in the G-League, as the youngest in league history at the time, clearly answers why he was taken third overall in this year's draft. In his time with the Ignite, he played 29.0 games with 22.0 starts and averaged 31.1 minutes, 15.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.6 steals, and .4 blocks per game while shooting 44.5 percent from the floor and 26.3 percent from beyond the arc. Henderson's demonstrated raw talent and potential as a multi-categorical contributor should, at minimum, put him on your radar and, at best, put him on your roster as he is showing early signs of being able to replicate and build on G-League success. Output like this could impactfully increase your rotation's overall value in most season-long leagues and could reap solid returns as we get deeper into the season. Henderson's upside and price point make him a solid option in daily formats, but be sure to mind the matchup. Henderson has a usage rate of 24.0 percent, a plus-minus of -1.2, and averages 25.1 minutes, 9.2 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.1 blocks per game while shooting 34.3 percent from the floor and 22.0 percent from beyond the arc.
