Bones Hyland and the Timberwolves have agreed to a two-way contract, per Shams Charania of ESPN.
Fantasy Impact:
Minnesota promoted Jaylen Clark to a standard roster spot to make room for Hyland on a two-way deal. After being traded by the Clippers and subsequently waived by the Hawks, Hyland gets a fresh start with the Wolves. In 20 appearances for Los Angeles this season, he averaged 7.2 points, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 rebounds in just 11.1 minutes per game. While he won’t have a major fantasy impact initially, he could carve out a larger role depending on Minnesota’s backcourt depth.
