Bones Hyland

Bones Hyland saw eight minutes of action late in Minnesota's win over Portland on Wednesday, scoring two points (1-of-2 FG, 0-of-1 3Pt) with two rebounds and one assist. Head coach Chris Finch noted he opted for Hyland over rookie Rob Dillingham in that spot because he felt Hyland "could handle (the ball) out there and could stand up to some of the (Blazers) drives," per the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Hyland has made the most of increased minutes of late, scoring 18 or more points in each of his last two games. The 24-year-old will look to continue to capitalize on a larger role with James Harden out, averaging 7.7 points in just 10.4 minutes per game so far this season.
