Fantasy Impact:
The player option is worth $52.6 million for the 2025-26 season for James. It remains a little unclear what his future looks like with the Lakers as he enters his 23rd season in the NBA. He is expected to be a full-go in training camp after suffering a Grade 2 MCL sprain at the end of the Lakers series loss against the Timberwolves.
