Quentin Grimes signed a one-year, $8.7 million qualifying offer to return to the Philadelphia 76ers. (Shams Charania on Twitter)

Following a period of back-and-forth negotiations, Grimes has agreed to a deal to return to the 76ers. He will have an inherent no-trade clause and will become an unrestricted free agent next summer. In 28 regular season games with the 76ers after his trade from the Dallas Mavericks, Grimes averaged 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
