Charles Bassey becomes free agent

Bassey is now a free agent after his 10-day contract with the Grizzlies expired last Thursday. He was signed on Oct. 27 via a hardship exemption, but the NBA did not grant Memphis another exemption once Vince Williams was cleared to return.
Fantasy Impact:
Bassey is free to sign with another team or explore opportunities overseas if a new NBA deal doesn’t materialize. In two appearances with Memphis, he totaled seven points (3-8 FG, 1-3 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block over 30 minutes.
