Al Horford struggles in return to lineup

Rust was evident for Al Horford in his return to the court on Thursday, as he connected on just 1-of-8 field goal attempts in a loss to the 76ers. Making his first appearance since November 21 due to sciatica, the veteran big man finished with three points, six rebounds, four assists, and one steal. His perimeter shot was particularly cold, as he missed seven consecutive triples after burying his first attempt.

Fantasy Impact:

Horford's presence remains crucial for a depleted Golden State frontcourt that saw Draymond Green (foot) exit early and was already missing Jimmy Butler (knee). However, fantasy managers should anticipate a scheduled absence this weekend. With the Warriors facing a back-to-back set on Saturday and Sunday, the team will almost certainly rest the veteran for one of those contests to manage his workload.
