Kristaps Porzingis (illness) participates in shootaround

Despite officially carrying a questionable designation for Friday's contest against the Nuggets, Kristaps Porzingis was active during the team's morning shootaround. Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports that the big man was getting shots up as he attempts to return from a four-game absence due to an illness. (Kevin Chouinard)
Fantasy Impact:
The situation is complicated by Porzingis' offseason diagnosis of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a recurring condition known to impact energy levels. Given this context and his recent inactivity, fantasy managers should anticipate significant restrictions if he receives clearance to play. Onyeka Okongwu has been filling the void in the middle and would continue to play a prominent role if Porzingis remains limited or sidelined.
