Edwards will miss his second straight game as he continues to deal with soreness in his right foot. In his absence, Julius Randle and Jaden McDaniels are expected to see an uptick in usage, while Bones Hyland, Jaylen Clark and Terrence Shannon Jr. are positioned for increased minutes, especially with Mike Conley (Achilles) also ruled out. Edwards’ next opportunity to play comes Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
