Cooper Flagg scores efficient 23 points in loss

Cooper Flagg turned in a solid all-around effort in Saturday’s loss to Sacramento, finishing with 23 points (7-of-13 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, five assists, and three three-pointers.
Fantasy Impact:
With Anthony Davis sidelined by a groin injury, the stage was set for Flagg to dominate the offense. While the rookie was efficient—shooting over 50 percent from the field—fantasy managers were likely hoping for more volume, as he attempted just 13 shots after hoisting 21 in each of his previous two outings. It was a passive showing for Flagg, who watched teammate Max Christie (12 attempts) see nearly as much work. He will look to reassert himself when the team kicks off a four-game week in New Orleans on Monday.
