CJ McCollum plays hero with game-winner

by Bruno Mulé | Wizards Correspondent | Thu, Jan 1st 9:31am EST

CJ McCollum saved his best for last in Wednesday’s win over the Bucks, draining a go-ahead pull-up jumper with just over a second remaining to secure the 114-113 victory. He finished the night with 18 points (7-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, and three three-pointers.

Fantasy Impact:

The veteran guard had struggled in the fourth quarter prior to the final possession, hitting just one of his previous four shots, but he delivered when it mattered most. While he isn't posting the explosive scoring numbers of his prime, McCollum remains a steady hand in the Wizards' offense and a reliable source of nightly production for fantasy managers.
