Cooper Flagg extends assist streak despite shooting woes
by Bruno Mulé | Mavericks Correspondent | Fri, Jan 2nd 9:49am EST
Cooper Flagg struggled to find his rhythm from the field in Thursday’s loss to the 76ers, scoring 12 points on 5-of-15 shooting (2-of-2 FTs). However, the rookie continued to shine as a playmaker, salvaging his night with seven rebounds, seven assists, and a steal.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the inefficiency, Flagg’s distribution remains a major fantasy asset; he has now dished out at least five assists in six consecutive games. This surge in playmaking has propelled him to top-50 value in 8-category formats over the past two weeks. He will look to rediscover his shooting touch when the Mavericks wrap up their week against the Rockets on Saturday.
