Jordan Poole starts, leads Pelicans with six assists in loss

With Trey Murphy and Herb Jones both unavailable Friday, Jordan Poole drew his fifth start of the season and first since November 4, finishing with 16 points (5-of-16 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), six assists, one rebound, and four three-pointers in New Orleans' loss to Portland. The guard hoisted 11 of his 16 shot attempts from deep and paced the Pelicans in assists.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite barely holding onto a top-150 ranking in eight-category formats, many managers are banking on Poole carving out a more prominent role, though that opportunity may not materialize in New Orleans.
