Peyton Watson scores 21 points in expanded role

Peyton Watson posted 21 points (9-of-22 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, and one steal across 40 minutes in Denver's loss to the Cavaliers on Friday. With injuries decimating the Nuggets' starting lineup, the 23-year-old wing put up a season-high 22 shot attempts.
Fantasy Impact:
Watson doesn't provide enough from a fantasy perspective beyond immediate scoring upside to merit consideration outside deeper leagues. However, he'll have an opportunity over the next few weeks to demonstrate what he can do with an expanded workload.
