Jase Richardson reached the 20-point milestone for the first time in his rookie season Tuesday, finishing with 20 points (7-of-12 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three three-pointers, three assists, and three rebounds in Orlando's loss to the Wizards. The rookie and Orlando's other reserves sparked a fourth-quarter rally that pulled the Magic to within two points with just over five minutes remaining.
Fantasy Impact:
Their inspired play earned them extended run, with head coach Jamahl Mosley riding his bench unit for the entire fourth quarter. While that decision may have contributed to Orlando running out of gas late, Richardson's breakthrough performance provides encouragement. With Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner still sidelined, he'll have continued opportunities to make an impact off the bench.
