Towns established a new professional best with five steals Wednesday while finishing with 13 points on 5-of-14 shooting in New York's loss to Sacramento. The career-high defensive total nearly doubled his combined steal production from the Knicks' first six games of 2026. He converted three of four free throws while adding four rebounds and one assist.
