Fantasy Impact: Mudiay will most likely come off the bench to backup newly acquired point guard Michael Conley. He saw his role increase for the Knicks last season, setting career highs in points, field goal percentage, and three pointers made. Mudiay averaged 14.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 0.7 steals in 59 games for the Knicks last season.

Fantasy Impact: Hezonja showed brief glimpses of talent throughout his career, but his inconsistencies granted him only 24 starts with Knicks last year. The Blazers hope that the small forward can build upon his career averages of 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, and work as a solid bench option for coach Terry Stotts.

Fantasy Impact: DeAnder Jordan will join forces with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant as the final piece of the Nets free agency haul. Jordan is one of the best rebounders in the league, but is no longer the elite defender he once was when playing for the Clippers. It will remain to be seen how Jordan and current starting center Jarrett Allen will mesh together. Jordan averaged 11.0 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 69 games for the Knicks/Mavericks last season.

Ignas Brazdeikis was drafted with the 47th pick in the second round by the New York Knicks.

Fantasy Impact: Ignas Brazdeikis last season with Michigan averaged 14.8 points and 5.4 rebounds a game. He will most likely come off the bench and be the back up small forward to Kevin Knox.


RJ Barrett was drafted number three overall in the first round to the New York Knicks.

Fantasy Impact: RJ Barrett last year for Duke averaged 22.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists a game. He is projected to be the Knick's starting shooting guard next season.


Billy Garrett scored six points and had one assist in 14 minutes off the bench in a 115-89 loss to the Pistons.

Fantasy Impact: Garrett finished the season averaging 6.5 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists a game. His fantasy value is low and he will most likely start next season in the G League.

Mitchell Robinson scored 11 points, had two rebounds, and one steal in 23 minutes in a 115-89 loss to the Pistons.

Fantasy Impact: Robinson finished the season averaging 7.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks a game. He played well down the stretch averaging 11.4 points and 11 rebounds during the last 10 games. Going into next season Robinson will most likely be the starting center for the Knicks.

Kevin Knox scored nine points, had seven rebounds, and one assist in 28 minutes in a 115-89 loss to the Pistons.

Fantasy Impact: Knox finished the regular season averaging 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists a game. He played well down the stretch averaging 15 points during the last 10 games. If the Knicks don't pick up any big free agents, Knox will most likely be the starting small forward next season.

Fantasy Impact: Hicks finished the season averaging four points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.7 assists a game. Hicks is a two-way affiliate player meaning he can play in the G League and be on the main roster. He will most likely start next season in the G League.

Henry Ellenson scored 12 points, had four rebounds, and two blocks in 21 minutes off the bench in a 115-89 loss to the Piston.

Fantasy Impact: Ellenson finished the season averaging six points, 3.5 rebounds, and 0.8 assists a game. The former 2016 first pick from the Pistons had a few good games, but the Knicks will most likely pass on picking up his option because he is a inconsistent defender and rebounder.

Luke Kornet scored six points, had two rebounds, and two assists in 28 minutes in a 115-89 loss to the Pistons.

Fantasy Impact: Kornet finished the season averaging seven points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists a game. He had some good games here and there averaging 10.1 points during the last 10 games. He is a free agent this off season and it is unclear if the Knicks will resign him.

Kadeem Allen finished with 13 points, five rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one block in Wednesday's loss to the Pistons.

Fantasy Impact: Allen almost ended the year early with a concussion but was able to play in the finale and left on a good note. He became a valuable player as the Knicks guards battled injuries all year. In 18 games with the Knicks (one start) he averaged 9.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists over 21.5 minutes per game.

Damyean Dotson scored five points with two rebounds, three assists, and one turnover in Wednesday's loss to the Pistons.

Fantasy Impact: Doston struggled to end the season, scoring more than seven points just once over his last five games. His year end per game averages are: 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.7 3PT in 11.3 minutes over 72 games (39 GS).

John Jenkins scored 16 points with three rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's loss to the Pistons

Fantasy Impact: Jenkins set a new season-high with 16 points in the finale. He was never a fantasy asset and finishes the year averaging 4.2 points, 1.4 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 12.2 minutes 25 games (no starts). He played four games with the Wizards and 21 with the Knicks.

Fantasy Impact: DSJ was questionable for tonight's game but ended up not stepping on the court. Since getting traded to the Knicks, he started 18 of 21 games played and averaged 14.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.

Fantasy Impact: Kanter bolsters a second unit in Portland that is starting to shape up into a decent group. Kanter won't see big value thanks to Jusuf Nurkic, but he could still be worth a fantasy roster spot if he can play minutes in the 20s on a consistent basis.
