According to the NBA Injury Report, RJ Barrett (knee) has been ruled out Sunday vs. the Raptors. (Source: NBA Injury Report)

Fantasy Impact: Barrett will miss the season finale for the Knicks with a knee injury he suffered during their last matchup. The second-year standout enjoyed a nice breakout with Julius Randle out of the lineup but his absence should clear the way for Immanuel Quickley to see more usage.

Evan Fournier notched 17 points (6-14 FG, 4-10 3PT, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, and two steals in Friday night's win in Washington.

Fantasy Impact: Fournier bounced back tonight after being held to merely 10 points on 28.6% shooting across the previous two contests combined. With RJ Barrett and Julius Randle sidelined for the season finale, Fournier will look to finish on a positive note.

Immanuel Quickley registered 23 points (9-18 FG, 4-9 3PT, 1-1 FT), six boards, 10 assists, two steals, and two turnovers in Friday night's win against the Wizards.

Fantasy Impact: Quickley flirted with another triple-double tonight after posting a 20/10/10 outing on April 3rd in Orlando. He saw an increase in usage tonight with RJ Barrett departing the game early due to a right knee sprain. With Barrett already ruled out for the season finale, Quickley will look to bring his A-game once more.

Obi Toppin poured in 35 points (14-22 FG, 6-9 3PT, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist, two steals, and two turnovers in Friday night's victory in Washington.

Fantasy Impact: Toppin blew up for a career-high 35 points to lead the Knicks over the Wizards. It certainly helped that his volume increased significantly with RJ Barrett exiting the court early due to a right knee sprain. Barrett has already been ruled out for the season finale against the Raptors, so Toppin is bound for one more monster outing to put a bow on the season.

Fantasy Impact: Quentin Grimes continues to deal with soreness in his right knee and is in danger of missing his sixth game in the last seven on Friday. The Knicks hope they can get Grimes back on the court before the end of the regular season but you don't need to get him back in your lineups, look elsewhere.

Alec Burks scored 19 points (6-7 FG, 3-3 3PT, 4-5 FT) to go along with seven rebounds, six assists and one steal on Sunday against the Magic.

Fantasy Impact: Burks has now knocked down at least three shots from deep in nine straight games. Shooting under 30 percent from the field in his last two games, Burks can be frustrating to trust but also offers high upside as a scorer. He should continue to see decent opportunity into the final week of the regular season.

According to Fred Katz, Tom Thibodeau said Julius Randle is out for tomorrow’s game in Orlando, too, and “most likely will be out the rest of the way." (Source: Fred Katz)

Fantasy Impact: With the Knicks sitting in the 12th seed and looking likely to miss the playoff yet again, the team has ruled out Julius Randle for not only Saturday but for potentially the remainder of the season. With the veteran out of the lineup, Mitchell Robinson should see his minutes extended while Taj Gibson could see an additional boost of minutes off the bench.

Taj Gibson (illness) out Sunday

Sun, Mar 6th 9:37pm EST
By Leo Sells

Taj Gibson (illness) will miss Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. (Source: NBA Injury Report)

Fantasy Impact: Gibson is dealing with a non-covid illness that will force him to miss Sunday's game. There isn't an exact timetable for his return, but it is thought to be short-term. The veteran big has been a solid bench piece this year, but his absence shouldn't affect the depth chart in a major way.

Fantasy Impact: The New York Knicks and guard Kemba Walker have agreed that the four-time All-Star will be sidelined for the remainder of the team’s season. With the news, fantasy managers should pick up guard Quentin Grimes who has played well as of late averaging 13.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 4 games. Note: the Knicks are 16-21 with Walker and 9-13 without him.

Sun, Feb 13th 3:17pm EST
By Leo Sells

The New York Knicks have signed PG Ryan Arcidiacono to a contract for the remainder of the season. (Source: Marc Berman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: The Knicks already have a lot of players at the point guard position, so it may be hard for him to carve out a role unless someone leaves. Don't expect the unexperienced point guard to be fantasy relevant enough to be rosterable.
