Mitchell Robinson went to the locker room with an apparent ankle injury, but returned to start the second half in Friday’s 106-103 loss to the Cavaliers. He provided five points (2-5 FG, 1-2 FT) six rebounds, three steals and one block across 28 minutes.

Fantasy Impact: Robinson landed awkwardly following a dunk attempt and exited to the locker room with an ankle injury. He returned in the second half of Friday’s game and should be fine going forward. Robinson is averaging 8.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.8 blocks across 30.1 minutes in 2020-21. Fantasy managers should check the NBA injury report on Sunday to ensure Robinson is in the starting lineup for the Knicks upcoming game against the Celtics.

RJ Barrett registered 20 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3PT, 4-4 FT) four rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 33 minutes during Friday’s 106-103 loss to the Cavaliers.

Fantasy Impact: Barrett has now scored 20 points in back-to-back contests while shooting 51.9% (14-for-27) from the floor. The 20-year-old continues to log heavy minutes (37.5) and will be given every opportunity to break out this season. Barrett is averaging 16.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.9 triples over 13 games in 2020-21. He will try to keep his 20-point streak alive in Sunday’s contest against the Celtics.

Immanuel Quickley scored a career-high 23 points (9-17 FG, 3-7 3PT, 2-2 FT) with five rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block across 27 minutes during Friday’s 106-103 loss to the Cavaliers.

Fantasy Impact: Quickley led the Knicks bench in minutes and was second in field goal attempts in Friday’s loss. He has been productive his last two games, averaging 21.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.0 triples across 25 minutes. Fantasy managers should look to add Quickley in all league formats as he continues to see an uptick in minutes and usage. The Knicks next scheduled game is Sunday, away against the Celtics.

Julius Randle scored a team-high 28 points (11-20 FG, 2-4 3PT, 4-5 FT), with six rebounds and six assists across 38 minutes during Friday’s 106-103 loss to the Cavaliers.

Fantasy Impact: Randle led the Knicks in scoring once again in Friday’s loss to the Cavaliers. He has now scored at least 20 points in five of his last seven games. The 26-year-old PF is absolutely crushing it for fantasy managers this season as the Knicks primary option on offense. Randle is averaging 23.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.4 triples across 37.4 minutes in 2020-21. The Knicks have lost five in a row and will try to end their losing streak in Sunday’s game against the Celtics.

Alec Burks (ankle) will not be available for the Knicks as they tangle with the Cavaliers on Friday night. (Source: Mike Vorkunov on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Burks had been an early bright spot for New York early in the season, averaging 20.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists over the first three games. Despite not playing since December 27th, head coach Tom Thibodeau says "he's coming along very well". If you were an early season believer in Burks, you may be closer to reinserting him into your lineup. On the other hand, he may be someone to flag on the waiver-wire when his eventual activation comes to fruition.

Reggie Bullock (hip) will step into the starting lineup versus the Cavaliers on Friday night. (Source: Mike Vorkunov on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Bullock hasn't played since January 10th but his returns this season have been mixed at best. He's averaged 8.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists this season. With Bullock getting the start, Kevin Knox's fantasy potential continues to be diminished. It remains to be seen if Bullock can break through the glass ceiling and shatter expectations with the starting unit.

Nerlens Noel managed two points (1-1 FG) three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 15 minutes during Wednesday’s 116-109 loss to the Nets.

Fantasy Impact: Noel has yet to reach double figures in scoring or log 20 minutes in any game this season. He signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Knicks this offseason, but his usage rate is low (12.0%) and he isn’t seeing enough minutes to warrant a roster spot in most league formats. Noel will try to get back on track when the Knicks visit the Cavaliers on Friday.

Knicks forward Taj Gibson will be available to make his season debut in Wednesday's game against the Nets. (Source: Official NBA Injury Report)

Dennis Smith Jr. (coach's decision) didn't play in Monday's 109-88 loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact: Smith missed time due to a quad injury and returned to action in Sunday's loss to the Nuggets. He scored four points and recorded two steals on Sunday. The 23-year-old was a heathy scratch for Monday's loss and logged a total of 24 minutes in both games he has appeared in. Smith shouldn't be rostered in any league format until his playing time increases. The Knicks next scheduled game is Wednesday, home against the Nets.

Elfrid Payton compiled 15 points (7-14 FG, 1-3 3PT, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals across 31 minutes in Monday's 109-88 loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact: Payton continues to fill the stat sheet and has now scored double figures in nine straight games. He is averaging 17.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists across 31.9 minutes during that stretch. The 26-year-old has cemented his role as the Knicks starting PG and is logging 30 minutes per game. Payton will look to keep his double figure scoring streak alive when the Knicks host the Hornets on Wednesday.

Austin Rivers registered 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-9 3PT) four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 38 minutes in Monday's 109-88 loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact: Rivers joined the Knicks starting five when Reggie Bullock (hip) was ruled out for Monday's contest against the Hornets. He logged a season-high 38 minutes and has now scored double figures in three of his last four games. Rivers is averaging 12.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.6 triples across 28.0 minutes in 2020-21. The 28-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Knicks this offseason and figures to have a prominent role in the rotation. Rivers will look to keep up his strong play when the Knicks host the Hornets on Wednesday.

Kevin Knox scored a team-high 19 points (7-17 FG, 5-12 3PT) with five rebounds, two assists and one block across 29 minutes in Monday's 109-88 loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy Impact: Knox led the Knicks in scoring and poured in a season-high 19 points during Monday's loss to the Hornets. It was only the second time this season that Knox scored in double figures. The 21-year-old is behind Julius Randle and RJ Barrett on the depth chart, but can be used as a steamer while rookie Obi Toppin remains sidelined. He is averaging 7.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.6 triples across 21.8 minutes. Knox will try to build on Monday's performance when the Knicks host the Nets on Wednesday.

Knicks forward Omari Spellman (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game versus the Cavaliers. (Source: Knicks PR via Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Dotson saw his minutes decrease with the Knicks last season, averaging 6.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.3 triples in 17.4 minutes in 48 games. He's not expected to provide much fantasy production for the Cavaliers playing back-up to shooting guards Collin Sexton and Kevin Porter Jr.

Bobby Portis has agreed to a two-year deal, with a player option in the second season, according to Shams Charania. (Source: Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Portis, who just had his $15.7M team option declined by the Knicks, will help shore up the frontcourt for a legitimate title contender in Milwaukee. The 25-year old posted 10.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while averaging 21.1 minutes for the Knicks last season. He's a name to keep an eye on in deeper fantasy formats.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, F Maurice Harkless is signing a one-year, $3.6 million deal with the Miami Heat. (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Harkless reportedly turned down more lucrative offers in order to sign with the Heat, so it seems like this was his desired landing spot. The 27-year-old forward averaged 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game between the Clippers and Knicks last season and will look to provide some quality perimeter defense for Miami, which is an area they have been looking to improve.

Wayne Ellington scored zero points, had two rebounds, and two assists in nine minutes off the bench in a 136-131 overtime win over the Hawks.

Fantasy Impact: Ellington on the season is averaging 5.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists a game. He doesn't score enough or receive enough minutes to warrant using him in fantasy. It is unclear when the next NBA game will be due to the coronavirus.

Allonzo Trier went for six points (3-5 FG), one rebound and an assist over 10 minutes in the Knicks’ 115-106 loss to the 76ers on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact: Trier unsurprisingly cooled off after Wednesday's 15-point showing against Charlotte, finishing Thursday's matchup with very little in the box score. He's largely been a non-factor for New York this season, and that's unlikely to change moving forward, barring injuries ahead of him on the depth chart.
