Ryan Arcidiacono has agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks. (Source: Knicks PR on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Arcidiacono is signing a new deal with the Knicks after spending much of the season in New York last year. He wasn't a big contributor on the team, averaging just 1.3 points per game and 1.2 assists in limited action. He could carve out a bigger role for himself this year, but to start, he isn't worth considering in any fantasy formats.

Free agent Derrick Rose has agreed to a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. (Source: Shams Charania on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: It is expected to be a multi-year deal for Rose. He found himself out of the Knicks rotation for most of last season, but he still remained a great influence in the locker room. Rose should find himself in the Grizzlies rotation, especially early in the season while Ja Morant is suspended where he should see minutes at point guard behind Marcus Smart.

Josh Hart has exercised his $12.4 million player option to stay with the Knicks for 2023-24. (Source: Shams Charania via Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Hart was the spark the Knicks needed in the second half of the 2022-23 season. He also contributed meaningful minutes in the playoffs, further cementing himself in New York. In an uncertain free agent market with the new CBA coming, it’s a wise move for Hart.

Fantasy Impact: Randle missed the Knicks loss in Game 1, but will look to aid New Yorks quest to tie things up in Game 2. He could have a lighter workload given he’s been managing an injury, but expect him to be one of the more productive Knicks players.

RJ Barrett (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. (Source: NBA Injury Report)

Fantasy Impact: Barrett is recovering from an illness of some kind that has forced him to miss the last couple of games. He's questionable for Friday and seems to have a decent chance to make his return to New York's lineup. Obi Toppin will continue to get more work for the Knicks if Barrett is unable to play against New Orleans.

Fantasy Impact: Robinson has offered strong rebounding output of late for the Knicks, grabbing at least six rebounds in each of his last five games. Fantasy Impact: Hartenstein was initially on New York's injury report because of ankle soreness, but it's not considered serious and he has been upgraded to active for Saturday's game. He shouldn't have his minutes limited, but he still only projects to be a streaming option for fantasy purposes at best against the Clippers.

The New York Knicks have traded Cam Reddish and a protected future first-round pick to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Josh Hart. (Source: Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Reddish had shown flashes in his time with the Knicks, but he has mostly been out of the rotation this season. With Hart having started for Portland, Reddish should step into a pretty big role for the Blazers where his value could be restored for fantasy managers. Reddish becomes an intriguing player to stash.
