Fantasy Impact:
Okongwu did not return after sustaining a facial contusion, leaving the game immediately after shooting a free throw while bleeding from his mouth. Atlanta Hawks head coach Quin Snyder said he took quite a hit and was “pretty banged up,” adding that Okongwu is still handsome and, fortunately, his teeth can be repaired. He finished Wednesday’s game with 17 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3PT, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. It’s unclear if he will be available for Thursday’s game against the Houston Rockets.
