Jabari Smith Jr. racks up 5 blocks in defensive battle with Atlanta
by Garrett Ball | Rockets Correspondent | Fri, Jan 30th 9:35am EST
Jabari Smith Jr. scored 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3P, 2-2 FT) with 8 rebounds, three assists, three steals and five blocks in the Rockets 104-86 win over the Hawks.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith was one of three Rockets who had three or more blocks in this game, leading the team in blocks and steals in the process. The Rockets were able to shut down a Jalen Johnson-less Hawks, whose starting unit struggled to get much going on offense. It’s a great performance by Smith, who will look to carry the momentum over to the Rockets game against Dallas on Saturday.
