Kawhi Leonard scores 24 as Clippers fall short

Leonard handled the primary scoring load with James Harden and Ivica Zubac no longer on the roster and Darius Garland (toe) unavailable for his Clippers debut. He finished with 24 points on 7-of-19 shooting Tuesday, going 8-of-9 from the line and adding eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers in the loss to Houston.
Fantasy Impact:
The 24-point output came two days after Leonard dropped 41 in Sunday's win over the Timberwolves. His shooting percentage took a hit against the Rockets' defense, though he nearly made up for it at the free-throw line. The Clippers visit Houston again Wednesday in their final game before the All-Star break.
