Will Riley leads Wizards with 18 points Tuesday night
by David Leisering | Wizards Correspondent | Wed, Feb 25th 12:33am EST
Will Riley scored a team-high 18 points (7-8 FG, 1-2 3PT, 3-3 FT) in Washington's 119-98 loss to Atlanta on Tuesday night. Riley added four rebounds and two assists.
Fantasy Impact:
Riley is playing himself into a larger role in his rookie season with Washington. He has now reached double figures in three straight games and seven times in ten games this month after hitting the mark only seven times in his first 39 games. After averaging 5.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in his first 39 contests, Riley is posting 14.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in February. More playing time has equaled more opportunity and with Washington essentially out of the playoff picture, Riley is a name to keep an eye on.
