Jamir Watkins scored 14 points (6-8 FG, 2-3 3PT, 0-0 FT) in Washington's 119-98 loss to Atlanta on Tuesday night.

Watkins, a second-round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, has been playing himself into a larger role this month. He has reached double figures in scoring in six straight games and now has hit the mark eight times this season. Watkins averaged 3.6 points in 15.6 minutes per game over the first four months of the season. In February, Watkins is averaging 11.6 points in 27.0 minutes per contest. He's a name to keep an eye on down the stretch with Washington essentially out of the playoff hunt.
