Lachlan Olbrich posts triple-double Sunday against Mavericks
by David Leisering | Bulls Correspondent | Mon, Apr 13th 8:56am EDT
Lachlan Olbrich scored 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 FT), grabbed 15 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists as the Bulls dropped a 149-128 decision to the Mavericks on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
In the category of most unlikely performances of the season, Olbrich came out of nowhere to record the first triple double of his career on Sunday. Granted, both teams gave their reserves most of the minutes, but Olbrich had never scored more than eight points, grabbed more than nine rebounds, or had more than five assists in any of his prior 36 games during his rookie season. Olbrich started the last two games of the year and averaged 8.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 7.5 assists. It will be interesting to see what role he'll have with the Bulls next season.
