Chicago Bulls

Eastern Central

Lauri Markkanen compiled 22 points (8-15 FG, 4-10 3PT, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal across 37 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Heat.

Fantasy Impact: Markkanen has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four games. He is averaging 14.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.0 triples across 24 games this year. After a slot start to the season, Markkanen has picked it up recently, scoring double figures for his fifth consecutive game. The Bulls next scheduled game is Monday, home against the Raptors.

Zach LaVine scored a team-high 22 points (8-20 FG, 4-10 3PT, 2-3 FT) with six rebounds, six assists and five turnovers across 34 minutes in Friday's 100-98 loss to the Warriors.

Fantasy Impact: Lavine led the Bulls in scoring once again and has now scored at least 22 points in five consecutive games. He is averaging 22.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.0 3PM across 23 games this year. Lavine continues to provide top-50 value as the main offensive option for Chicago. The Bulls next scheduled game is Sunday, away against the Heat.

Thaddeus Young will miss Friday's matchup with Golden State due to personal reasons. (Source: K.C. Johnson on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Young was a Friday-afternoon scratch from the contest and will miss his first game of the season due to personal reasons. In a banged up frontcourt, Luke Kornet should see some extra run behind Lauri Markkanen.

Tomas Satoransky scored 13 points (3-10 FG, 0-2 3PT, 7-9 FT) adding six rebounds, eight assists, and three steals playing 33 minutes of the Bulls 106-99 win against Memphis last night.

Fantasy Impact: Satoransky ranks top 60 in category leagues over his last seven games averaging 12.1 points, four rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.7 steals per game over that span. He has pushed his way into the top 100 after 22 games and remains a solid fantasy option for assists and steals.

Wendell Carter Jr. provided 16 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3PT, 6-8 FT) 13 rebounds and four blocks across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 106-99 win over the Grizzlies.

Fantasy Impact: Carter has posted his second straight double-double, giving him a total of 12 on the season. His four blocks in Wednesday's win was a season-high. Carter is averaging 12.7 points, 9.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks across 22 games this year. He has been solid all year and is nearly averaging a double-double per game. The Bulls next scheduled game is Friday, home against the Warriors.

Chandler Hutchison (shoulder) is considered doubtful for Monday's game against Sacramento. (Source: NBA.com)

Fantasy Impact: Hutchinson injured his shoulder in Wednesday's contest against the Trail Blazers. He is unlikely to play Monday, an update on his status should be known closer to tip-off. Shaquille Harrison would see a uptick in minutes if Hutchison is ruled out.

Category: Injury Updates

Coby White scored 2 points (0-7 FG, 0-4 3PT, 2-2 FT), two steals and a rebound during his 26 minutes off the bench against the Warriors.

Fantasy Impact: Coby White can only improve his shooting after this performance after laying an egg against the Warriors. He is averaging close to 13 points a game on the season. Look for him to find his shot Friday against the Trail Blazers.

Shaq Harrison totaled 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four assists, two steals, two rebounds and a block

Fantasy Impact: Harrison drew his second straight start with Chandler Hutchison and Otto Porter out of action. Shaq has posted two well-rounded stat lines in his two recent stints in the starting five, averaging 12.5 points , 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.0 blocks. As long as he gets consistent playing time, Harrison will be a viable fantasy option in 12-team leagues.

Otto Porter Jr. has been ruled out for at least two more weeks due to additional bone bruise in his left foot. With Chandler Hutchinson also out, Shaq Harrison will pick up a few spot starts. (Source: NBA.com)

Fantasy Impact: With Porter out, Hutchinson and Harrison figure to split some starts especially when Hutchinson is also out. Thaddeus Young, Coby White, and Kris Dunn also benefit.

Kris Dunn scored eight points (4-for-8 from the field, 0-for-2 from three point range) Monday night versus the Bucks. He also notched nine assists, six rebounds, two blocks and a steal in 25 minutes of play.

Fantasy Impact: Dunn is splitting time with three other point guards which caps his upside. Inconsistencies on the offensive end limit him to a desperation flier in the right matchup.

Daniel Gafford piled up 21 points (10-12 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two blocks and an assist over 20 minutes in the Bulls’ 115-101 loss to the Bucks on Monday.

Fantasy Impact: Gafford burst onto the scene in Monday's loss, compiling career highs in minutes, points, rebounds and blocks. The former Razorback had seen just 13 minutes across four games this year while spending time in the G League, but he had his number called in this one. Luke Kornet will miss at least a week after having surgery to repair a sinus obstruction, and Gafford figures to be a fixture in the Bulls' rotation until the former returns. The rookie big is a deep-league add if you need help at center, as he should push for 20 minutes per game in the short-term.

Luke Kornet has been ruled out indefinitely after undergoing a surgical procedure to address a sinus obstruction. (Source: Bulls on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact: Kornet is best left on the waiver wire in all leagues as he's out for a while and seeing minimal minutes this season.

Ryan Arcidiacono scored 10 points in 16 minutes of play Friday night against the Indiana Pacers. He also had four assists and two rebounds.

Fantasy Impact: With all the guards getting minutes in Chicago, Arch is buried on this roster. Look at him as a potential waiver pick-up if there is a trade or injury to Kris Dunn, Tomas Satoransky or Coby White.

JaKarr Sampson came off the bench to score 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting. In 35 minutes, he added eight rebounds, an assist, and two blocks during the loss to the Sixers.

Fantasy Impact: Sampson has averaged 23.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in his three games played this month. He has short-term fantasy value for the Bulls last two games of the season.

Category: Game Recaps

Walter Lemon Jr. had 24 points on 11-of-16 shooting in Wednesday's 115-114 win over the Wizards. He added three rebounds, eight assists, and two steals in 29 minutes of action.

Fantasy Impact: Lemon has posted two strong games over his last three outings as he has joined the starting lineup to play out the year for the Bulls. He has some fantasy and DFS appeal down the stretch with the Bulls looking toward next season.

Robin Lopez had 29 points, seven rebounds, and two assists on Monday against the Knicks. In 30 minutes, he shot 12-of-18 from the field and 5-of-8 from the line in the loss.

Fantasy Impact: With most of the Bulls starting unit getting held out down the stretch, Lopez excelled on Monday with a season-high 29 points. He could have a couple more big games as the Bulls wind down the season with their backups getting a look.

Category: Game Recaps

Wayne Selden Jr. put in 11 points, 12 rebounds, four dimes and a steal in 34 minutes of game action on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact: Selden posted his first double-double of the campaign after tying his season-high with 20 points the previous game. Wait and see if Selden can put up another solid performance before adding him though.

Cristiano Felicio played 15 minutes on Friday against the Nets and scored five points with four rebounds. He shot 1-of-4 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line in the 125-106 win.

Fantasy Impact: Felicio has seen an increase in his playing time over the last three games with at least 12 minutes per game. He should continue to get some run with Bobby Portis out of town but his fantasy output is still limited with just 5.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in his last three outings.
