Maxime Raynaud closes out solid rookie season with 21 points
by David Leisering | Kings Correspondent | Mon, Apr 13th 11:15am EDT
Maxime Raynaud scored 21 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3PT, 4-4 FT) and grabbed nine rebounds in Sacramento's 122-110 loss to Portland on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Raynaud capped off a solid rookie campaign with his fifth straight double-digit scoring effort and his 12th such game in his last 13 outings. The rookie was having a decent start to his first NBA season by averaging 9.8 points and 6.6 rebounds prior to the All-Star break. However, he really came into his own post-break, averaging 17.3 points and 9.2 rebounds while shooting 59.2% from the floor over his final 26 games. While he won't win Rookie of the Year, he should receive some votes for the honor and he should be a big part of the future in Sacramento.
