LeBron James is drawing interest from the Golden State Warriors as he looks likely to hit free agency this week. The Warriors are also reportedly targeting Anthony Davis. (Yahoo Sports)
Fantasy Impact:
James has some history of success with Curry, notably at the 2024 Olympics, and this could give the Warriors a shot at getting James at a discount not seen before. They have the assets to make it work, and pairing LeBron with Steph and Draymond to their younger pieces to back them up is enticing. If they can pry the oft-injured Davis from the Wizards and if he can stay healthy, all the better. As for James himself, he's at the stage of his career where he is still very productive, but can't shoulder the load like he used to. Wherever he ends up, he will still be a premier fantasy option.
