Walker Kessler traded to Los Angeles Lakers

Walker Kessler has been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for two first round picks in 2031 and 2033, as well as two first round swaps in 2028 and 2030. Kessler will sign a 4-year, $130 million deal with LA. (Shams Charania on X)
Fantasy Impact:
It’s a massive swing for the Lakers as they look to bring in a skilled and promising big man to put alongside Luka Doncic in their new LeBron James-less era. With Kessler in town, Deandre Ayton will likely take on a lesser role, especially with how his season went in 2025-26.
