The Wizards waived Alondes Williams.
Fantasy Impact
Williams was competing for one of the final roster spots with Washington. He will seek another opportunity.
Alondes Williams has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Washington Wizards. Williams has spent a majority of the season with Capital City in the G League.
Fantasy Impact
Williams was named a G League All-Star and has averaged 20.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 13 games to date with Capital City. The guard has appeared in nine total NBA games over three seasons, most recently playing four minutes for Detroit against Orlando on November 23, 2024. Williams has scored 10 points in 25 minutes of action over his NBA career. Given the fact that the Wizards have the worst record in the Eastern Conference, it's possible that Williams gets some minutes during his 10-day trial run.
Alondes Williams is set to become an unrestricted free agent.
Fantasy Impact
The Heat have withdrawn their qualifying offers to both Williams and Cole Swider. They'll both remain off the fantasy radar.
