According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Amir Coffey has agreed to a three-year, $11M deal with the Clippers
A nice bench-piece move for the Clippers who will bring back Kawhi Leonard and Paul George from injuries this season. During the back portion of this season, Coffey flashed scoring ability and distribution skills off the bench. He likely won't play much with a now-loaded Clippers roster but is a solid addition to the actual roster.
Amir Coffey finished with 32 points (10-16 FG, 7-7 FT, 5-9 3-PT), six boards, seven assists and four steals on Friday.
Amir Coffey and Robert Covington both set career-highs on Friday, as the Clippers bested the Bucks, 153-119. Both teams rested several starters, which thrusted Coffey into a high-usage role on offence. He also logged four steals, which put the finishing touch a huge fantasy night. Coffey will likely head back to his spot on the second-unit when the Clippers battle New Orleans on Sunday.
Amir Coffey scored 32 points with six rebounds, seven assists, and four steals in the 153-119 win over the Bucks on Friday. He shot 10-for-16 from the field including 5-for-9 from beyond the arc in 43 minutes.
With both teams resting most of their starters, Coffey set a new career-best with 32 points. He offers some fantasy appeal when starting with averages of 12.6 points and over two threes per game. Coffey could get more playing time over the last week of the season with the Clippers locked into their playoff position.
Amir Coffey recorded 21 points (9-15 FG, 3-6 3PT), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in 38 minutes in Friday's blowout loss to the 76ers.
Coffey recorded his first 20 point game since Jan. 31. Throughout the season, the Minnesota product is lacking a valuable contribution in any statistical category which heavily dampers his fantasy value. While the young guard has been logging some big minutes, they are not consistent along with his scoring output. The 24-year-old will look to maintain some consistency scoring the ball when the Clippers host the Jazz on Tuesday.
Amir Coffey scored 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3PT) to go along with one rebound on Tuesday against Memphis.
With Norman Powell entering the starting lineup for the Clippers, Coffey was the one who moved to the bench. He still played one more minute than Powell, as the Clippers went 11 players deep against the Grizzlies. After showing some flashes as a starter, Coffey lost a good amount of fantasy basketball value with this recent trade that brought Powell and Robert Covington to the team as only so many players can log minutes on a given night.
