Archie Goodwin

Archie Goodwin has been waived by the Blazers along with Isaiah Briscoe and Anthony Morrow. The point to note is that the Blazers have an open spot leaving one player to sign with CJ McCollum out for opening night.

Fantasy Impact

Goodwin has bounced around the league after being drafted in the first-round by the Thunder. He's spent time with the Suns and Nets while shooting 54 percent from the floor in 17 games last season. He's off the radar now but if a team needs help at the guard position, Goodwin is a decent scorer.

Archie Goodwin has signed on with the Blazers on a camp deal looking to make a 15-man roster this season. Goodwin spent time with the Nets last season but could make the team behind Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum.

Goodwin isn't likely to make a fantasy impact especially in Portland behind McCollum and Lillard.

Through three games in the summer league, Goodwin is averaging 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists, while shooting 57.7 percent from the floor.

Fantasy Impact

The Nets are stocked in the backcourt with Jeremy Lin, D'Angelo Russell, Sean Kilpatrick and Spencer Dinwiddie. Moreover, Goodwin doesn't have salary protection for the 2017-18 season. However, if he keeps playing well, he has a good chance of making the Nets' roster.

Archie Goodwin will sign a two-year deal with the Nets following his second 10-day deal. Goodwin will finish out the season with the Nets and see some action behind Caris LeVert.

Fantasy Impact

Goodwin has played well for the Nets with three games of eight-plus points. Goodwin isn't worth a look in any format unless a few players in front of him rest.
