Brandan Wright will be released by Rockets

Brandan Wright will be released by the Houston Rockets as the veteran forward is still dealing with a knee injury. Le'Bryan Nash will be signed upon Wright's release.

Fantasy Impact

Wright shouldn't be on any fantasy rosters especially during the playoff run. Ryan Anderson gets a boost with Wright surely out of the picture.

Brandan Wright (knee) will miss two or three weeks

Brandan Wright will miss at least two or three weeks with a knee injury. Wright was signed after being waived by Memphis as insurance for Nene and Clint Capela. Both of them are healthy so the Rockets will take their time with Wright.

Fantasy Impact

Wright could be done for the rest of the regular season as the team looks towards getting to the Western Conference Finals and in most cases playing the Warriors. Leave Wright on the wire.

Brandan Wright signs with the Rockets

Brandan Wright has signed with the Houston Rockets after being released by the Grizzlies. Wright will serve as a solid backup option for Ryan Anderson or Clint Capela as he can play the four or five.

Fantasy Impact

Even with the upside on the Rockets offense, Wright should be left on the waiver wire. If he plays minutes, he's taking some from Nene or PJ Tucker.

Brandan Wright will receive buyout from Memphis

Brandan Wright will receive a buyout from the Memphis Grizzlies sometime over the next few days. Wright was also on the block before the deadline but the team was able to move only James Ennis. Deyonte Davis will be the backup center the rest of the season.

Fantasy Impact

It's a boost for JaMychal Green, Jarell Martin, and Deyonte Davis the rest of the way while Green should be owned at this time. Martin is a borderline 14-team add with Davis being left on the waiver wire.
