Briante Weber agrees to terms with the Grizzlies

Briante Weber agreed to terms with the Grizzlies on Tuesday with a 10-day contract. The team will not bring back Xavier Rathan-Mayes who was on a 10-day of his own. Weber will see minutes right away with Mario Chalmers and Andrew Harrison out.

Fantasy Impact

Weber could be on the DFS radar with Chalmers, Harrison, and Tyreke Evans all out. However, Ben McLemore is the better add in season-long and Kobi Simmons and Wayne Selden also get a boost and are better DFS options.

Briante Weber has been waived by Rockets

Briante Weber has been waived by the Rockets on Monday in order to sign Markel Brown. Weber saw some minutes when Chris Paul missed time but he's back and James Harden should be back next week.

Fantasy Impact

Weber has spent time with the Hornets, Warriors, and Rockets but never made any fantasy noise. Leave him on the wire even if he gets picked up.

Fantasy Impact

Eric Gordon is the biggest benefactor here with the CP3 injury while Bobby Brown and Demetrius Jackson could see some minutes at the point. Weber isn't likely to make a fantasy impact this season.

Briante Weber agrees to deal with Lakers

Briante Weber has agreed to a deal with the Lakers on Tuesday. Weber saw backup minutes in Charlotte last season but joins a crowded frontcourt in L.A. Weber isn't a lock to make the 15-man roster.

Fantasy Impact

With so many guards in L.A. including Lonzo Ball, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tyler Ennis, Josh Hart and Corey Brewer, Weber is on the outside looking in. Leave him off fantasy rosters.
