Eligibility
Brook Lopez is returning to Milwaukee on a two-year, $48 million deal. The Bucks locked up their starting center.
Fantasy Impact
Lopez had his best season offensively for the Bucks in 2022-23. He was also tied for second in the NBA in blocks per game at 2.5. Lopez might not be lighting up the scoreboard, but his rebounding and blocking ability combined with solid shooting make him a valuable asset for nearly any fantasy roster.
Brook Lopez will not play in Friday's game vs the Grizzlies.
Fantasy Impact
The Bucks are resting many of their starters after clinching the number one seed in the east, so this isn't too surprising. Bobby Portis and Meyers Leonard will see additional minutes.
Brook Lopez (ankle) is likely to play in Sunday's contest against the Toronto Raptors.
Fantasy Impact
Lopez missed Thursday's game because of an ankle injury, and he will be on the injury report for Sunday's game because of it as well. It's not thought to be a serious issue, however, and the team expects him to play at full capacity in their matchup against the Raptors on Sunday.
Bucks center Brook Lopez has been fined $25,000 by the NBA following Monday night's altercation with Kings big man Trey Lyles, per The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Fantasy Impact
Lopez came to the defense of his superstar teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo against the Kings. He came face to face with Trey Lyles who put his hands on Lopez's throat, leading to a one-game suspension for the Kings' center.
Brook Lopez (illness) is likely to play in Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Fantasy Impact
Lopez is a new addition to the injury report, being listed with a non-covid illness of some kind that will leave him with an injury designation for Thursday's game. It's not expected to be serious, however, and he should play in full capacity against the Lakers.
