Bruno Caboclo scored two points (1-2 FG) and one rebound in only three minutes of playing time in Sunday's loss to the Lakers.
Fantasy Impact
Caboclo has only seen a total of 33 minutes across five games this season and doesn't have a consistent role in Houston's rotation as of now. His only playing time comes in garbage time and he offers no fantasy value.
Bruno Caboclo posted six points (3-9 FG, 0-3 3PT), six rebounds and four turnovers across 20 minutes during the Rockets loss to the Nuggets on Monday.
Fantasy Impact
Caboclo has been seeing some extra minutes with DeMarcus Cousins self isolating away from the team. While his six points and six rebounds are solid on a per-minute basis, his four turnovers prove to be the downside. He will need to do a better job taking care of the ball against the Kings on Thursday but with Cousins on track to return, he may not see any action.
Bruno Caboclo is out for Sunday's contest against the Bucks due to a sprained right ankle.
Fantasy Impact
Caboclo missed Saturdays game against the Mavericks, but it's not clear when he sustained the ankle injury. He only averaged 8.1 minutes a season and isn't a regular fixture in the Rockets rotation. His next chance to play will be Tuesday against the Trail Blazers.
Rockets F Bruno Caboclo has re-joined the team after having to serve an extra quarantine period from breaking the rules of the NBA bubble.
Fantasy Impact
Caboclo served his time back in quarantine after inadvertently crossing the boundaries of the border. After 0 of 346 COVID-19 tests came back positive on Monday, it’s easy to see why the NBA has such strict penalties and procedures for when a player does break the bubble.
According to sources inside the bubble, Rockets F Bruno Caboclo inadvertently broke the initial quarantine at Disney World and must quarantine again for eight days as a result.
Fantasy Impact
The league has done a great job communicating the protocols to the players, but Caboclo must have missed the memo. A source said, “he should’ve known, it was no secret [he couldn’t leave his room upon arrival for initial quarantine].” Caboclo is now required to quarantine in his room for another eight days before joining the Rockets for team activities. It may not affect his minimal playing time during the season, but this goes to show you that players seem to be taking the bubble and the consequences of breaking the quarantine very seriously.
