The Bucks waived Cam Thomas.
Fantasy Impact
Thomas was claimed off waivers by Milwaukee back in February. He appeared in 18 games with the Bucks, averaging 13.5 points per game on 41 percent shooting from the field and 31 percent shooting from deep.
Thomas has hit double figures in just three of his last eight games since joining the Bucks, making Sunday's 17-point effort off the bench a welcome outlier — 17 points (7-of-12 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), six assists, two three-pointers, one steal, and one rebound in 20 minutes against the Magic.
Fantasy Impact
The inconsistency is hard to ignore at this point, and the 20-minute workload off the bench makes it difficult to count on him in fantasy until the role stabilizes.
Cam Thomas scored 27 points (11-17 FG, 1-6 3PT, 4-6 FT) to go along with three rebounds and one assist in the Bucks 139-118 win over the Pelicans.
Fantasy Impact
Thomas has now dropped 34 and 27 points in two of his first three games since being picked up by Milwaukee. He tied Ryan Rollins for the team-high in scoring despite playing just 21 minutes off the bench. Thomas will remain a high upside scorer in the back court for Milwaukee.
Cam Thomas scored 34 points (12-20 FG, 4-6 3PT, 6-6 FT) with four rebounds and two assists off the bench in Wednesday's 116-108 win over the Orlando Magic.
Fantasy Impact
Thomas had a breakout performance in just his second game with the Milwaukee Bucks, connecting on 60% of his shots on a team-high 20 attempts. Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said after the game, "I've had Jamal Crawford. I had Lou Williams… And now, I have Cam Thomas." Thomas is expected to take on a similar role as those two, providing high-volume scoring off the bench in a sixth-man capacity.
Cam Thomas played 13 minutes in his first game with Milwaukee and scored four points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3PT, 2-2 FT), grabbed one rebound, and had one assist during Milwaukee's loss to Orlando on Monday.
Fantasy Impact
Thomas was signed by the Bucks on Sunday after he was waived by Brooklyn just after the trade deadline. Milwaukee, as a team, was held to just 99 points on Monday, so Thomas was not alone in struggling to score. He averaged 15.6 points in 24 games with the Nets this season so don't give up on him yet. But, he primarily is just a scorer - his secondary stats provide minimal help for fantasy owners.
