Corey Kispert scored a career-high 33 points (11-19 FG, 6-11 3PT, 5-5 FT) while adding six rebounds, one assist and one block in Thursday’s 126–96 win over the Washington Wizards.
Fantasy Impact
Kispert logged 28 minutes Thursday, his most since playing 31 minutes on February 9. Despite coming off the bench, he took advantage of the increased opportunity with Jalen Johnson (hip) and Nickeil Alexander-Walker (foot) sidelined. He will look to stay hot Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers and should once again see plenty of minutes if both remain out.
Corey Kispert tied a season-high with 20 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3PT, 4-4 FT) and grabbed two rebounds in the Hawks' 121-119 win over the Jazz on Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact
Kispert reached the 20-point mark for the second time this season, but his first in 13 games with the Hawks since joining the team in the Trae Young deal. Kispert has now reached double figures in five straight games and is averaging 14.8 points during the stretch. He doesn't offer much else (2.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists in last five), but he is on a heater scoring the ball right now. Kispert is up to 10.7 points per game in 13 contests with Atlanta.
Corey Kispert scored 13 points (5-13 FG, 2-7 3PT, 1-1 FT) and added four rebounds and four assists in the Hawks' 127-115 win over the Heat on Tuesday night.
Fantasy Impact
Kispert has scored in double figures in each of the last four games, his longest streak of the season. He is averaging 13.5 points during the stretch and is up to 9.9 points in his 12 games with the Hawks.
Corey Kispert saw his streak of six consecutive starts come to an end on Saturday, but he still scored 11 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3PT, 1-1 FT) in 22 minutes in the Hawks' loss to the Pacers.
Fantasy Impact
The return of Zaccharie Risacher to the Atlanta lineup spelled the end of the Kispert's starting role. However, despite returning to the bench, he reached double figures in scoring for the third consecutive game. In his 11 games with the Hawks, Kispert is averaging 9.6 points. He'll likely remain one of Atlanta's leaders on the team's second unit.
Corey Kispert scored eight points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3PT) in his second consecutive start as Atlanta defeated Memphis, 124-122, on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Despite starting for the second straight game, Kispert played only 14 minutes. While he scored at least eight points for the third time in six games with the Hawks, he didn't do much of anything else on Wednesday (one rebound, two assists, one steal). Don't go running to the waiver wire to grab him because he's starting right now. Once Zaccharie Risacher and Kristaps Porzingis return from injury, that should push Kispert to an even smaller role.
