Corey Kispert has been diagnosed with a fracture to the tip of his right thumb.
Fantasy Impact
Kispert suffered the injury in the third quarter of Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. The Washington Wizards announced that the fracture will be treated conservatively, and an update will be provided as appropriate. With him sidelined, Cam Whitmore and Will Reily are expected to see an uptick in minutes.
Corey Kispert did not return to Tuesday's game against the Hawks with a thumb injury.
Fantasy Impact
Kispert had scored 16 points in the first quarter prior to the injury. If he misses time, Tre Johnson and Kyshawn George will see more run.
Corey Kispert scored 20 points (7-10 FG, 3-6 3PT, 3-3 FT) to go along with five rebounds, five assists and one steal in the Wizards 121-120 loss against the Bulls.
Fantasy Impact
Kispert finished the night tied with Cam Whitmore for the team lead in points. He also played a team-high 37 minutes. It was the first time Kispert has reached the 20 point mark this season.
Corey Kispert scored 15 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3PT, 2-2 FT) and dished out four assists in Monday's 119-102 loss to the New York Knicks.
Fantasy Impact
Kispert saw just 15 minutes of action on Monday but was able to make the most out of them. He finished with 15 points while missing just one shot over the course of the game. This was a good performance for the veteran, but given his small workload, he should not be a consistent starter in most league formats for the time being.
Corey Kispert will be a full participant in training camp after undergoing surgery in March to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb.
Fantasy Impact
Kispert was limited to 61 games after undergoing season-ending surgery. He averaged 11.6 points, three rebounds and 1.7 assists in 26.3 minutes per game. He is expected to have a significant role off the bench this season.
