Darius Acuff Jr. struggles in NBA debut

Darius Acuff Jr. scored 12 points (5-24 FG, 0-7 3P, 2-5 FT) with three rebounds, three assists, and three steals in the Kings’ 121-96 loss to the Clippers on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Acuff struggled to find his shot in his NBA debut, hitting just 21% of his shots and none of his seven attempts from beyond the arc, even going 40% from the charity stripe. The talented rookie out of Arkansas should hopefully find his footing soon, and he’ll be given ample opportunity to do so on a Kings roster in desperate need of difference makers.
