Fantasy Impact
Sharpe has really stepped his game up here in December. Despite averaging just 16 minutes per contest, the 24-year-old big man has put up 8.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.8 blocks while shooting 61.3% from the field over six games this month. Sharpe is certainly worth a bench spot in deeper fantasy formats right now.
Day'Ron Sharpe put up 16 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, and three steals in Tuesday's 113-99 loss to the Celtics.
Fantasy Impact
It only took Sharpe 18 minutes to put together an impressive stat line for the Nets in this one. The fifth-year big came up just one point shy of his season high and tied his second-highest rebound total of the campaign. Sharpe's minutes are limited at the moment, but he could find his way to a few more if he keeps playing like this.
Sharpe (lower body) has been cleared to play Friday against the Magic, per Brian Lewis of the New York Post. He will move past his probable designation and is expected to resume his usual role as Brooklyn’s backup center.
Fantasy Impact
Sharpe has averaged 6.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.9 steals in 15.9 minutes across 10 games this season. His role should remain stable behind Nic Claxton.
Sharpe (glute contusion) is listed as probable for Friday’s game against the Magic, per Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com. He missed Tuesday’s loss to the Raptors but appears on track to rejoin Brooklyn’s rotation.
Fantasy Impact
If active, Sharpe should resume his usual role as the backup center behind Nic Claxton. He’s averaged 6.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.9 steals in 15.9 minutes across 10 appearances this season while shooting an efficient 64.9 percent from the field.
Sharpe (glute) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors. The big man exited Sunday’s loss to the Knicks with what was initially described as left hamstring tightness, but the team has since clarified it as a left glute contusion.
Fantasy Impact
The updated diagnosis suggests a relatively minor issue, and Sharpe is considered day-to-day. In his absence, frontcourt depth players such as Jalen Wilson, Noah Clowney and possibly Danny Wolf could see increased opportunities.
